This 100 page Christmas Special from 2013 contains two great stories...an American daily (Mandrake's Bon Voyage) that only finished in late November and a Classic (The Unknown Commander) last published in 1987.
Mandrake the Magician very rarely appears alongside The Phantom, although both are creations of Lee Falk's.
During Lee Falk’s lifetime, Mandrake made his one and only crossover (with colleague Lothar) in the 1977-78 daily and Sunday versions of the famous The Wedding of The Phantom story.

In a 2001-2002 Mandrake daily story, Fredericks also dropped The Phantom into the plot for a brief crossover.
In our current story Mandrake and The Phantom team up against a very glamorous foe...read on!
Here's some history for you! Our second story, the complete Unknown Commander story.
In a classic two part tale we battle Singh pirates, create the Jungle Patrol, witness the death and resurrection of The Phantom and employ native cunning to restore order from jungle chaos.
This is a classic tale last published in 1987, so enjoy!
