Story: In this issue we bring you Pirates of the Red Dragon Part III: Sentenced to Doom which was originally published by Semic Press back in 1979. Written by Norman Worker with art by Georges Bess. This is the final and last episode, in the series and what a thrilling ride this particular trilogy of stories has been. All three segments of this story seem to stand firmly on their own, but are united by Princess Sin’s obsession with our hero. The Phantom is put to the test in almost every imaginable way by the beautiful and beguiling Princess. She certainly isn’t the shy and retiring type when it comes to her feelings for him. Ultimately, I felt he was quite shaken by the whole experience. For those who came in late, and if you are just picking this up from the newsagent and would like to read the earlier two comics they are available on our website. We were fortunate enough to be able to engage Chris Wahl to provide the cover for this issue. Chris is a local commercial artist with an impressive global portfolio of work behind him. This is his first Phantom cover for Frew and it certainly has the wow factor! I look forward to seeing more covers from him in the future.
We now offer this as a physical paper comic or as a digital comic.
