"Power of the Skull Mark" Part 2 of the French Revolution adventure - story by Claus Reimerthi and art by Heiner Bade.
Part 1 is Issue 1594.

Presenting—the climax of our French Revolution adventure!
In Power of the Skull Mark, The 13th Phantom sets out to avenge his father, narrowly avoids his own death and engages in an incredible battle of wits with the evil police superintendent, Brissot.
Claes Reimerthi’s script and Heiner Bade’s art largely follows actual history, but it must be pointed out that both creators have enlarged the known facts (and changed others!) in the search for maximum comic book impact.
For example, not quite enough is explained about the quite remarkable Marie Grossholtz. I suggest, as always, that you carry out your own research, but she was indeed, a real person who married Francois Tussaud in 1795, moved to London in 1802 and took her collection of wax figures on a long tour of the British Isles ...
