This story takes us back to the era of sailing ships and piracy. As The Phantom is warning all the Mori villagers of an approaching tsunami he encounters the lawless crew of ‘The Black Cross’. They are real ruff-necks - make their own laws, obey no-one but themselves. However, they are unnerved by The Phantom’s immortality! But even believe they, too, are immortal. The story becomes even more interesting when they discover a prospective crew member believes in immortality, too.
