The 22nd Phantom part 2; Baptism of Fire written by Claes Reimerthi and with art this time provided by American artist Alex Saviuk.
Reimerthi has been one of Sweden’s most prolific Phantom writers since his career with Team Fantomen gained momentum in 1984. In addition to approximately 246 Swedish stories he has written Daily and Sunday stories for the King Features newspaper strips
between 1999 and 2003, following the death of Lee Falk. It seems highly appropriate that a writer with his depth of Phantom knowledge and experience would be entrusted with such a potentially sensitive story arc that explores an area where none have previously dared to go.
All is not well in the Deep Woods, something evil with dark magic is lurking in Phantom
Head Peak. The Skull Throne is still empty!
Bengali and the final legacy of the 21st Phantom is under threat of chaos and tribal
war. Guran is practicing his counselling and mediation skills on a fractured relationship
between Kit and Heloise. No one has any idea were the Phantom is and things are
starting to unravel. That’s just for starters!
