Issue 1977 - Replica Series No 40, 2024

This is the 40th issue in Frew’s ‘Collectors Replica Series’ and reprints No. 77 from February 1955, 76B from January 1955 and 76A from December 1954. 

No. 77 contains the first publication of the 1944 daily story ‘The Crooner’ with art by Wilson McCoy. 

No. 76B contains two stories. The first is the second publication of the 1941/42 daily story ‘The Phantom’s Treasure’ with art by Ray Moore. The second story to appear in this issue is the first publication of the 1947/48 Sunday story ‘The Marshall Sisters’ part 2 with art by Wilson McCoy.

No. 76A also contains two stories. The first is the second publication of the 1946/47 daily story ‘Mister Hog’ with art by Wilson McCoy. The second story to appear in this issue is the first publication, in this main Frew series, of the 1950 Sunday story ‘The Mysterious Passenger’ with art by Wilson McCoy.
