“Deadly Conspiracy”, is a Fantomen story first published by Egmont in 1981. It is one of many 32-page Swedish gems which have not been published previously by Frew. I’m always delighted to lay my hands on one of these for several reasons, firstly I don’t have to find a filler story and they are usually quite well written and drawn without massive deviation from the spirit of Lee Falk. This particular story is written by the British creative, Norman Worker who began writing for Fantomen under the pseudonym John Bull in the mid-1970s and went on to become a very popular and successful Phantom author for them. He was teamed up on this story with French comic artist Georges Bess.

Comic in mint condition.
