At first appearance, Evil lurks in the Night, with its art by Joan Boix, may be confused with an Egmont story, but I can assure you that it is a freshly minted, first publication by Frew, written by Pidde Andersson.
The story itself has been based on and inspired by the famous Scottish legend of Sawney Bean. The tale of Sawney Bean was first published in the British chapbooks, which were the rumour magazines of the day.
