“The Secret Theatre part 2 - Shakespeare in Venice” by Claes Reimerthi and Kari Leppänen, continues on in a similar vein to the last comic, albeit in a completely different location, the Phantom once again finds himself pitted against the best assassin the Jesuit seminary has trained. This part of Claes Reimerthi’s story is set in Venice, Italy the year 1592.

The fame of William Shakespeare, who appears as a central character in this historical Phantom tale is beyond question.
How extremely clever then, for Claes Reimerthi to conjure this wonderful Phantom story and allow space in his writing for William Shakespeare to finally visit and be completely seduced in this city of his dreams.
