Madame le Diable as the name suggests is of a devilish, feminine persuasion, a lady who knows what she wants and doesn’t care what she has to do to achieve it. She harbours deep seated resentment towards her father, who apparently did not lavish her with his wealth as she would have hoped. All she wanted was some property in Paris but look at her now! Over many decades of repeated Phantoms, notorious and villainously wicked women have often found themselves to have an irresistible attraction to the Phantom’s powerful, heroic and inscrutable masculinity!
